The dramatic centerpiece of new San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge is the Self-Anchored Suspension (SAS) span. The first of its kind and largest in the world, the new Signature Span is comprised of a single cable support system and offers state-of-the-art seismic safety. The East Span’s modern appearance and graceful tower will be at home within a region celebrated for its breathtaking bridges.
Alta Vista Solutions is performing structural material source inspections and quality assurance services for the new Span.
