Bridge Deck Cracking Investigation Services
Alta Vista Solutions was recently selected to provide on-call materials investigation and testing for bridge projects in California. AVS is part of a team providing on-call structural concrete bridge deck cracking investigations services for the state Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
Led by Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, the team will review and analyze current construction practices, material properties and site conditions presently employed during the construction of concrete decks within Caltrans projects. The team will investigate and provide analytical modeling and recommend changes in design and construction practices that will help mitigate early age deck cracking.
